My Session at WordPress Dhaka Meetup: AI-Era Product Launch Checklist

On August 29, I had the opportunity to speak at the WordPress Dhaka Meetup, August 2026: AI in WordPress and Beyond. Event link is here.

My session was titled “The AI-Era Product Launch Checklist: Is Your Product Actually Discoverable?”

The idea came from something I repeatedly notice while working with WordPress plugins and SaaS products: we put enormous effort into building and launching a product but sometimes start marketing before making sure the internet can actually find, understand, and verify it.

Publishing a Product Isn’t the Same as Launching It

A live landing page is only the beginning.

Before spending heavily on marketing, a product website should clearly explain what the product does, who it is for, its major features, pricing, documentation, and the next action users should take.

Then comes the technical side.

Make Sure Search Engines and AI Can Access It

Your product pages should be crawlable and indexable.

That means checking essentials such as:

  • robots.txt
  • XML sitemap
  • noindex settings
  • canonical URLs
  • structured data
  • AI crawler accessibility

Tools such as Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Clarity can help monitor whether your pages are being discovered and how people interact with them.

Your Website Cannot Build Discoverability Alone

Content still matters, whether it is human-written or responsibly AI-assisted.

Product tutorials, use cases, comparison articles, competitor alternatives, problem-solving content, case studies, and original insights provide search engines and AI systems with more context about your product.

But your footprint should go beyond your own domain.

Build Your Product Entity Across the Web

Depending on your audience, establish a presence on platforms such as:

WordPress.org, Product Hunt, G2, Capterra, AlternativeTo, SaaSHub, Reddit, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, Bluesky, and relevant communities.

Then work toward genuine third-party mentions through industry blogs, comparisons, partnerships, reviews, newsletters, and creator coverage.

My Biggest Takeaway

Before asking:

“How do I market my product?”

Ask:

“Can the internet actually find, understand, and verify my product?”

Because publishing gives your product a URL.

Discoverability gives it a chance to become part of the conversation.
